A colorful, descriptive story of Ken and Bing. One is an artist; the other a writer on the side. Ken shares their story - marriage, traveling to the French countryside on their delayed honeymoon. They fall in love with La Montaigne Noire. The couple buys another home, which they re-do.

They encounter language barriers, misadventures & mishaps, but neverless, their French getaway home is refinished in the end! The book is well-written; humor is scattered here & there, as well as various tales while in France. Ken shares a motorcyle adventure through France, some of Bing's painting abilities while the two travel, and other stories that will delight the reader. A fun, quick read...
