The men of Long Shadow Ranch have a plan to get in on the gold rush. If they can pull it off, they'll be millionaires. But if they live, it'll be a miracle.

James Cason, Duke Faglier, and Revelation Scattergood will drive a herd of cattle from San Antonio, Texas, to the Dakota Territory for one large payoff. But as they head off on the trail that leads through Sioux country, the Civil War rages, gold fever strikes, deadly enemies lurk -- and they're not sure if they can trust one another.

A very good western. Easy reading.Indian fights, panning for gold, Civil War, you name it and it happens in the old West. Mostly about a cattle drive with a little romance thrown in.
