As a slow reader this book is a double treat. It is a heart warming story about a family who is "adopted" by a dog, and it is a quick read, so you can finish this story in an evening.

It especially had a special interest for me since the young man in the story reminds me of my own son who has Aspergers, even the age is close. The characters for me really came alive while reading this story and it is good for all ages and dog lovers.

This book is the follow up story to Christmas With Tucker. You don't need to read them in order thou. I hope this author follows up with a third book about Todd when he gets older. If you are a dog lover or love animals in general you will enjoy this story.
