I was quite excited to read this book. I watched a documentary on this subject on either History Channel or National Geographic in which the author was interviewed. I was impressed with his knowledge and the way he spoke, too bad he doesn't write that way. I found the book disjointed and difficult to follow, of course it is not an easy thing to read about but there are other books on the subject that are better written.

This book is amazing in that it does not sugar coat any aspect of what the author saw. It is something that we all need to have a hard look at and refuse to sit passively waiting for someone else to step in. Childhood is the most precious thing a person has, and this book shows the horrid ways that peoples childhood is ripped from them, as well as the long term effects. I recommend this book to everyone and hope people start to take more of a vocal stance on the subject.
