By the author of The Author of THe Christmas Box, this first in a new series is poignant and convicting. Hunter is a man left to raise his daughter alone. He is a man who has been thorugh tradegy and nearly gives up. But a storm, testing, and love shouw him that every life holds blessing. You iwll love it! Even better than the Christmas Box, deeper and more insightful.

I know there was supposed to be a life lesson in it somewhere, but I found it slow reading and depressing.

A beautifully written story of survival and love. This is a story which takes place in the wild west... for someone who never usually reads westerns (That's me. And I totally LOVED it!
