Mark Helprin I love as an author, always have. This new book I'd give 6 stars if I could. WOW. Where in some books, some thoughts are so profound you want to go grab a pen and write them down to remember them, the writing in this one is soooo good you'd be writing down most of the paragraphs in the book. It kinda knocks your socks off. Erudite? Yes, Deep? Yes, Beautiful? Yes. Well-written? OMG, yes.
