I used this book for my evening devotions for two years. There is one page for each day of the year. Each day's reading is a compilation of verses around a common topic. I thought it was very useful as a way of meditating on specific scriptural concepts and ideas. It was thought-provoking in a calming way. I really liked reading this book before I went to sleep. I used this book along with two companion books, The One Year Book of Bible Promises and The One Year Book of Personal Prayer.
