This is a MUST have for a first time mom. I used it almost every day. It has so much more than the month by month style books!

A very interesting week-by-week guide to fetal development as well as changes in mom's body. Full of helpful tips and other information. I often found myself reading ahead! I liked that it was broken down by week, so I didn't have to wait so long between chapters!

I really like this series much better than the "What to Expect". This has more pictures and is broken up differently with more details.

This book was wonderful while I was expecting my first child. It went into much more detail than what to expect so it was nice to read both and really see and read about what was going on. I reccommend it to any expecting mother.

I did not wind up using this book during my pregnancy. I do have one complaint about the book. It covers "itching" by saying that a lot of women get it and it's caused by your skin stretching. They then go on to say that it may only occur when you are pregnant and then also when you take oral contraceptives. Well, taking oral contraceptives wouldn't cause your skin to stretch, would it? That means there must be some other reason you are itching - something related to pregnancy hormones. Well, there is. It's called ICP - intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. It's a real condition and if you itch while pregnant, you should be tested for it. Check www.itchymoms.com. By no means does every itchy pregnant woman have ICP, but don't allow your doctor to dismiss you cavalierly.

I really enjoyed the week by week guide compared to the What to Expect when Expecting which is only a month by month guide. I was too anxious to wait for the next month.

My husband and I really like this book. We pick it up periodically (at least once a week) to check out my progress. Very inofrmative.

I loved these Week by Week books - both the pregnancy book and the Baby's First Year book. The weeks don't always exactly correspond with where you or your child are at, but it is still very helpful to have a general idea of developmental stages. I especially enjoyed the pictures in actual size that depict typical fetus growth. It really makes it all seem very real!

this is actually a hardcover 4th edition not the 5th. No jacket cover. Good condition.
It really helped me watch how my baby was growing every week. I thought it was really cool to see what/how a baby develops over time. Loved this book.
