I read this book as a teenager and thought it great. It was only much later I found out who really wrote it. Check Wikipedia for details.

Makes you wonder what kind of low-life person would accept the Pulitzer Prize for History for a book he didn't write. But if you also read "The Dark Side of Camelot" you understand how he could do that.
