Preston and Child do it again! The crown princes of modern fiction have outdone themselves with " White Fire"
In addition to bringing back an old friend, they actually delve quite deeply into Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars and even bring Oscar Wilde into the fray. I really liked the way they tied the legendary, if fictional, detective and the writer to this amazing tale.
As always, the action is great, the characters are believable and the story is intriguing, to say the least.
I have read everything these guys have written and always anticipate cracking the cover on one of their new books. I hope they live forever!

Bryon L who reviewed this book before me hit it right on the head! His words are MY words also. Good ole Preston & Child, they always come through with my favorite character Pendergast. This book had it all, picked it up one night and finished by the next. It pulls you in and never lets go! 3 Cheers and 10 Stars( if I could)!
