Twin brothers in love with the same woman. Gabe steps aside so that Moriah can marry the man she loves - his brother Levi. When Levi decides he does not want to be Amish or married any longer, Gabe rushs to Moriah's aid but must still hide his true feelings for her. Torn by love for his brother and his love for Moriah, Gabe seems destined to never have happiness in his life. A tender and heartfelt story.
A secondary story is that of Moriah's brother Tobias and Rachel. A spit fire, Rachel seems too competitive and too much of a tomboy to settle down. She seems set on irking Tobias at every turn and he does the same to her. Their story was fun relief from the deeper more tragic story of Gabe and Moriah.
