How It Works We are an online book club for people over 18 with US mailing addresses. We share books with each other using the US mail. Each book you send gets you a book credit to order any available book for yourself. You pay postage for books you send, they pay postage for books you receive.
How To Get Books Your first two books are free (terms apply). Browse among available books and order the ones you want. If a book you want isn't available, add it to your wish list and you will be notified when it is available for you.
How To Send Books When a book is requested from your Bookshelf you will receive an email notification. Print a mailing label from your account page, wrap it up and mail. You can choose to use print the postage and mail right from your mailbox.
Membership Options Standard Members ($20 a year) request books with Book Credits only and never pay Swap Fees. Limited Members ($12 a year) can make 30 requests per year using Book Credits only without paying any Swap Fees. A la Carte members (free) pay a 49-cent Swap Fee plus Book Credit for each request. A la Carte members see advertisements while browsing our site (to help with operating expenses in lieu of paid membership).
