I love the Dry Creek series. The characters are just that ~ Characters; especially the old men who gather around the woodstove in the hardware store (the only store in town). The Matriarch of the town, has had just about everyone in her Sunday School class when they were children; and treats them like they are her own...bossing them around, worrying and caring about them...and of course playing matchmaker. I wish that the Hallmark Channel or PureFlix would make a television series out of it. They would have plenty of material to work with, as there are over 25 books in the Dry Creek series.

In AN ANGEL FOR DRY CREEK is the first story in the series. Glory is mistaken for a real Angel by the Pastor's little boys. Soon, word spreads, and everyone in town is calling her the Angel; especially after they talk her into participating in the town's annual Christmas play. She is in trouble however, and danger is following her to this out of the way little town in Montana. The story has humor, meddling, matchmaking, and a little mystery; all rolled into one enjoyable book.
