Rancher Untamed is a low-key romance that is fast-paced and engaging. Diego and Pippa are well-rounded, three dimensional characters who are easy to like and root for. Pippa's expectations are sometimes a little unrealistic yet she readily accepts the consequences of her decisions. Diego is incredibly supportive of her return to England but he is uncertain whether he will fit into her new life.It was nice to read a story about a strong woman who wasn't afraid to stand up for what she wanted and where every concession didn't have to be made by her. The author did a nice job of showing that women can have a career and a relationship if it's approached in a mature manner wtih open discussion. I loved the secondary characters in the story, too. They were well fleshed out and made you feel and understand the support and love of the small town of Cole's Hill.
