I am now thinking of giving up completely on Burton! I've tried and tried with her books but this one is just pitiful.

I don't read romances but this didn't have much of that, I like a good suspense/thriller and it didn't have much of that, I like a good creepy bad guy and it didn't have that either! What did it have? Just lots and lots of descriptions about everything.

Murder #1, not much happening with it
then there is the 'problem girl' turning out to be a saint? pages and pages and pages of more descriptions
Murder #2, not much happening with that either

and this is only to page 200, I gave up I was so bored, it was so slow and boring I just couldn't continue, so there won't be many more Burton for me, I'll keep trying but I'll drop her if she doesn't get better
