PFC:   Honky Tonk Woman (Keb Mo's son on drums!)

A note to the few kind people who are still watching this thread:   I will be out of town most of this week, and don't know whether I'll have internet access.  So I won't be posting for several days.  When I'm back, I'll consider whether to keep this thread going.  It was originally started during Covid to provide support and distraction, but that need is gone now, and it's getting harder to find interesting and uplifting things to post.  If you have any input, please PM!

Claire, I so enjoy your efforts but I also know that things ebb and flow with the times~

so for me, I'd completely understand that it's time to move forward with other things and accept with that, some things will be let go to have time for other projects/events/pursuits in life~~

It's been great to have a place to come for a distraction and to find laughs & entertainment~~ but if you choose, it's completely understandable~

What Nancy said!  It's been such a neat place to check on when I'm on PBS. And I dearly love that if I look back in the early pages, there's our Silvercat still.  Miss her!

That being said, times change, perhaps time to go.on to other things. I don't know how you've found so many interesting and fun things to post for so long here. We do appreciate the effort. If this is a good time to step away, do so with no regrets. Thank you!

I'm thinking of just posting on the weekends.  And yes, I frequently read Linda's posts too.

Hope you're still intact, Nancy - ditto to everyone else in the path of all these storms!

Another bird story.  Jeanne G made me aware of this one:

Bald eagles upset when storm damages nest and eaglets fall out

didn't know that FL wasn't on the path for flamingos ~~ did know from news media that some came to TX last fall and birders flocked to see them on the lower coasts. and so very sad about the eaglets~~  with the last 2 months of such severe storms repeatedly, it's been news that so many 'tree' babies are being rescued after each storm and turned into our local wildlife rescue group. Coons, squirrels, birds of all kinds, you name it, babies have been turned in!
