Attorney Ben Kinkaid puts his reputation on the line to defend Ray Goldman who was accused of the massacre of an entire family. There was only one survivor of the attack and on the day that Ray is to be executed she comes forward to say that Ray was not the one who massacred her family and that she perjured herself. Unfortunately, she is killed and Ben must move heaven and earth to find the real killer and to save Ray. A real action and suspense thriller. The author really knows the law and helps you to learn so much even about the flavours that people use in fast foods. An all-round interesting read.
