This is the first book I have read by Barbara Delinsky and it was ok; quite a bit was far-fetched and seemed highly improbable. There were a number of what you might side stories within the book, and I continued reading because I wanted to know how all the different twists were going to be resolved. If this book is supposed to be âone of her best' as quoted by the Boston Globe, it makes me wonder about all her other books.
A killer is demolishing women and leaving flowers behind. Laurel is on the case after returning home from DC. Paired up with Huck again she's unsure of the feelings between them. Too many suspects that are interconnected has the two of them trying to piece together who the killer might be. Laurel is also dealing with her half sister Abigail who may or may not have something to do with the murders. Some things are not adding up putting both Laurel and Huck in danger. Can't wait till the next book in this series
