This was a very interesting read with a stunning ending. Not quite sure where it was going most of the time. But my friend and I discussed it for days!

"Satan doesn't care whether you fall on your face or your backside as long as he can throw you off-balance and make you fall. God's intention is for the believer to stand! Knowing God's Word will enable you to stand firmly against Satan's strategy of confusion, half-truths and flat out lies.
Through years of experience in pastoral care, Jim Wood has noted five major areas where Satan confuses believers. Recognizing these attacks from the enemy and learning to embrace God's truth has brought victory time and again. This book will open your eyes to Satan's methods and God's provision for his children."

I hold my daughter...In the warm bath of the Christmas tree lights.
And I wonder.
Did the Yuletide parties and gathering fill her with a sense of family?
Did the music of Christmas heal her of a cynical world and inspire her with hopes of something greater?
Did the gifts she shared teach her that the greatest gifts are received in the giving?

When college girl Helen Klaben and her badly injured pilot were rescued after 49 days in the frozen wilderness, the story made headlines around the world. How could they have survived seven long weeks without food and water? What kept them going? What did they think about during those desperate days of cold, pain, and hunger?
Helen Klaben tells the story. It is a story of remarkable courage, abiding faith, unquenchable hope...a miracle behind the headlines.
