A Michael L. Printz Honor book, this book is an "intense reading experience", according to ALA Booklist. Follow Shawn McDaniels into the life that no one knows he has. He is stuck in a wheelchair, unable to move any part of his body voluntarily. His father and family have no idea what goes on inside his head- for all they know, he could be in painful misery. But they will never be able to find out - unlike the readers of this novel. "Within these pages, we meet a side of him that no one else has seen - a spirit that is rich beyond imagining, breathing life." This book will stay in your minds and hearts long after reading it.
