Gary Kinder is an American writer. He is the author of Light Years and The New York Times Best Seller Ship of Gold in the Deep Blue Sea. Kinder also wrote the 1982 classic of true crime, The Other Side of Murder. He researched Victim for seven years prior to having it published. Kinder lives in Seattle with his wife and two daughters, and he teaches advanced writing seminars to lawyers across the United States.
