This week all of a sudden I am getting blocked at sign-in by a request to view an Ad before I sign-in. Not happening on any other websites so it must be an issue with PBS.  (different ad each time it appears)  Anyone else seeing this?  I have a work around by switching to another web server. (ex: if it happens on Safari, I switch to Firefox)

nothing like that for me but it was slow a few days ago but when I returned later in the day, all good with no lagging~ 

It only happens to me if I leave the tab with PBS open and later come back to log in. If I close the tab and come back through my saved favorites, ads are gone. This happens in both Safari on my iPad & Chrome on my desktop pc.

Yes, no other website is showing me ads. 

Hi Jeanne - as Linda suggested, have the Login page -  https://www.paperbackswap.com/members/login.php - or the Account page  -  https://www.paperbackswap.com/members/index.php  - in your favorites and log in there, rather than from history or the plain paperbackswap.com.

I had the whole page blocking add come up a while ago - PBS provided that "this is a free way for members to support the site. If you let the (extremely brief) ad play, then you will not see that screen again for 48 hours." 

I only get them if I come in on my Ipad, but if I close that out and come in on the computer I don't have the problem. 

I'm having problem on ipad and laptop.

Jeanne- I was using the site on my iPhone this morning, and suddenly, the screen froze and a box popped up demanding that I watch the ad in order to get 48 more "uninterrupted hours" of use on PBS. 
 

Obviously, I did not watch it- I just opened a new window. 
But... what the heck?!?!

Yep , been getting that again this week on one server so I just open PBS on the other and no more ads!!
