Great read. Really enjoyed the journey and the characters where very well-drawn. A look into the lifestyle of fugitives and radical activists lives.

I thought this was a pretty amazing book. Incredibly well-written, a story within a story. I found myself thinking that the dad-in-the-Japanese-internment-camp thing was a separate story, but it really wasn't. This book will make you look at anti-war protesters differently, or I should say it did for me. I found myself thinking that the war was beside the point, at least for the people in this story. Not what I would have expected. Very interesting perspective, well-written.
