I am fairly new to the paranormal romance genre, and I LOVE it, of course!  I have read all of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books (Dark Hunter series, etc).  I also enjoy JR Ward, Lara Adrian, Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter, and Jacquelyn Frank.  Do you have any other authors to recommend?  I like happy endings and steamy romance.  I am ready to start a new series/ author.  Thanks so much!

Nalini Singh  Psy/Changling

Shelly Laurenston   Magnus Pack  /  Pride Stories     This one of my top favorite authors.  

I agree with Nalini Singh's Psy/Changling series, it is a great one.  Also S. Laurenston series, they are great to read.

Check out Christine Feehans Dark Carpathians, they are a vampire series, but a little bit different.  The Carpathian's are a different race, species that drink blood, but are not the evil vampire, unless they decide to turn and become one.

She also has three other series, GhostWalkers, a military type series, men who had agreed to genetic type manipulation to enhance psychic abilities.  It is good, but it just doesn't appeal to me.  The other is the Drake sisters, seven sisters who have magical abilities, each book is about one sister.  She is starting a new series, based on the brothers of one of the sisters husband. 

If you like a light series full of humor and good sex, Lyndsay Sands Argeneau Vampire series also has a different take on vampires, they are the survivors of Atlantis.

Another series that is light, has lots of humor and good sex and romance is Kerrilyn Sparks Love at Stake series.

Angela Knight has a series, the vampires are really King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.  They became vampire to protect mankind.  Good series

Others I like are Susan Sizemore Prime series; Alexis Morgan's Paladins series, Deborah Cooke's Dragonfire series; Nina Bangs has several different series worth checking out; Christine Warren's Other series, Lora Leigh's Breed series, Jean Johnson's Sons of Destiny series; Karen M. Moning's Highlander series is very good; and I like Janet Chapman's Highlander series also.

In fantasy, C. L. Wilson has a GREAT series, Tarien Souls, that is definitely worth reading.

There are just a few of the series I read, and others will have some great suggestions.

I absolutely love Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld! Excellent series. I also like the NIcki Styx books by Terri Garey and lets seeeeee...Theres the Vegas Vampires by Erin McCarthy :)

Larissa Ione - Demonica series

Oops, you forgot to mention Christine Feehans Leopard series.  She is the closest I can think of to Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Maggie Shayne has a good series about a group of misfits fighting an evil vampire

If you like alot of erotic paranormal you could try Laurell K. Hamilton

The Immortals is a good series even though it is by different authors which are Jennifer Ashley, Joy Nash and Robin T Popp.  It is about 5 immortal brothers fighting and evil old world demon.  The demon is causing havoc with the world and causing dark light to grow stronger to destroy the world.
