Certainly worth tracking down, I sat on the wish list as number one forever for this and finally got it at the library...sorry I can't swap! It was certainly worht the wait. If you are a fan of the style of writing of this author you will not be disappointed. Three times in history including the presented day are represented just as they were in Brotherhood. It is a well written book, not a quick read, but certainly worth finding and reading! Note: there are some extremely horrific Nazi concentration Camp depictions that are troubling but needed for the story.

After Readubg Navarro's Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud I looked forward to reading this book and was not disappointed. Navarro has a way of pulling readers into her stories. This was no exception. The storyline was well developed. I found myself cheering for and hating the characters. Although the book was long 600+ pgs, I found myself not wanting it to end. I look forward to reading her next book and would highly recommend this book and author to anyone who loves a good adventure.

Has a lot of characters and a lot going on - but it sorts itself out toward the end. Enjoyable reading.

Internationally bestselling author Julia Navarro riveted readers around the world with her provocative novel The Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud. Now she goes even further, in this electrifying thriller about a biblical discovery in the Iraqi desertâand a deadly struggle on the eve of war to unearth a truth that's waited 3,000 years to be toldâ¦.

In St. Peter's Basilica, a man sits in a confessional asking forgiveness for a murder he's about to commit. And a young priest begins a desperate journey to stop him.

It's the beginning of a ruthless race to find a rumored cache of sacred texts that could be one of the most explosive discoveries of all time. For as Clara Tannenberg and a team of renegade archaeologists journey deep into an Iraq on the brink of war, another far more sinister group is determined to get there first. Sweeping from the time of the biblical patriarchs to the front lines of the Iraqi conflict, from the horrors of Nazi Germany to the back rooms of Washington, D.C., The Bible of Clay is a novel of unrelenting, thought-provoking, and all-too-plausible suspense.

Interesting story with multi-plot lines going on. For me I saw right through a couple of the twists but it was still well done. She used flash-backs to set up the present plot and explain twists and turns. Definitely worth the time to read. Skipped the religious implications of the "find" which really wasn't important to the story line.
