As a lover of the books by Michael Koryta, I just had to give this a try since Scott Carson is his pen name. I honestly have never read a book quite like this. To say that there is a supernatural aspect to it is an understatement. It is quite spooky! The characters are very well developed and different chapters are told in he person of different characters but it all blends together beautifully. At the beginning I thought the book dragged but then it became intense and that intensity continued throughout the rest of the book. I think it safe to describe this book as a suspense thriller or possibly to put it in the horror genre.

I won't go into a description of the book itself because there are plenty of those available. I will say that for someone who normally doesn't read anything paranormal, this book held my interest and I'm giving it 4 stars!

this wasn't a bad book but it's one you have to stick with and read every page, the story is slow and in the end I thought silly, it took me a week to read this one and I stuck with it just to find out exactly what it was about but it's mostly about a dam from years past that wasn't completed now the 'ghosts' are showing to some people and yada yada
