This book takes place in Belfast Northern Ireland in Spring 1981. It's a brilliant depiction of Belfast at the height of the Troubles. A serial killer is targeting gay men and Sean McDuffy is the cop caught in the crossfire. It's fast-paced, evocative and brutal with quality prose. I learned a lot about the IRA and the hunger strikes. Looking forward to the next in the series.
