you said that i was the one
you said i could out do anyone
you swore that i was your all
so why then do i feel so small?

you told me i meant happiness
a warm house where you could rest
you said that i was just the best
but still you treat me like a cracked crest

you acted like i was everything
you promised me a pretty ring
i guess you were just pulling my strings
because here i am with two broken wings

so don't be surprised
when you find out i am gone
dont act like you dont see it
since my tears never cease to fall
you dont need to pretend anymore
dont even bother to open our house's door.
you might as well be a silent stone,
and maybe, i wont be coming home

I was listening to evanescense while reading this and together made i sound really really deep. Deeper than the soul. It was spectacular.
