A wonderful gathering of Women's poetry. An anthology which truly gives pleasure to the reader. Not the same... These 50 + poets speak their minds and express them with many different styles of writing. I was especially captured by a few particular contemporary poets. Included in this book: Sammie Ella Yon, Cristina T. Lopez, B.S. Allen, and Marissa Ranello. Ranello gives a strong voice to a NEW generation of women. The Anthology is a celebration of women, their struggles, and their accomplishments. It's highly recommended.

Mary Gordon is at her best. A wonderful character study of 5 women in the company of their beloved priest.
