Most people recognize The Cricket on the Hearth as Dickens' second most famous Christmas tale. But, many do not realize that he celebrated Christmas by writing a new tale every year. This book also contained two of his lesser-known stories: The Holly-Tree (sometimes called The Holly-Tree Inn) and The Haunted House.
