Okay so I was on pins and needles waiting for this book to come out. And I do believe it was worth the wait. However, this book was no where near the intensity of the first four books. Maybe I want too much but this book, although good was not the GREAT FINALLY I was hoping for.
I absolutely love this series and all the books are keepers for me. The final book was not the best but was still a great story - the battle of Light over Darkness. Ellie came such a long way from the frightened young person to the capable mature woman-warrior. I thought after all the angst with Ellie not able to truemate with Rain, it all happened so smoothly in the end I wondered what all the fuss was about.

It didn't tie up all the loose ends in the final chapter so I am guessing there have to be more stories coming particularly Milliandra and Nicolene and the babies.

I have read the first in the series while at work one day. It was a long time ago, then I recieved the same book for christmas and I was hooked again. I recieved all of the series with in a year and I have to say the last book summed it all up. It was a great read and I feel that C. L. Wilson is a great arthur. It made you fell as you were part of what was happening. I rated this book and series 5 because it was great.
