A brilliant book written by a Vietnam veteran and this is his actual experience. It was healing for him to enter the Everglades and hunt the Florida panther. No harm was done; the stalking was innocent. It allowed him to gradually lose some of the pain accumulated during the war while acquiring greater respect for this wild endangered creature of the Glades. Beautiful prose, captivating descriptions, you will enjoy if you are wilderness oriented.
