The second of the TRUST trilogy takes us back to the filthy rich, insanely beautiful and painfully tormented souls of Sofia, Alistair and Nathan, and carefully fills in many (but not all) of the unanswered questions left hanging in TRUST The Beginning. We are able to better understand the emotions that drive these lovers together and apart as their motives become clear and personalities continue to expand and blossom in print. This adds to the compelling need to know more and experience their amazing lives from each distinctive point of view. As much as I want to hate Nathan, even his despicable actions have their foundation in misplaced anger, fear and doubt. Proving that even in paradise, there are misgivings, cynicism and doubt. Except for all the wealth, glamor and privileges, the rich arent so different from the rest of us romantics.
