This third in the trilogy kept me guessing for quite a while, until I had to take a peak at the end to be sure of my suspicions. Enjoyed it very much. I actually think this is the best of the three in this series.

The first two books were pretty repetitive. Guy and girl, one doesn't like the other, but somehow they end up together and solve a crime after girl is in peril. In the end boy marries girl.
The 3rd book in this series was a tad bit different but the formula was pretty much the same.
All in all I still did enjoy reading them.

The best of the trilogy but that's about all I can say for it. I've read four books by this author and only sought out this one to complete the series. All four books were nearly identical. Just change names and locations. This author lacks imagination and creativity. She has simply found a story line that works for her and is running with it.

In this story, we're introduced to Irish folklore. We hear about spells, magic, and banshees. This is the third story in the Flynn Brothers ("Deadly") Trilogy. It's Zach's story, as an investigator and with a new romantic interest, and takes place mainly in Rhode Island. Zach is called in to help find out why a close elderly family friend became suddenly very sick. Since the doctors were unable to locate a cause, foul play is definitely a possibility. At the same time his friend became violently sick, the friend's business partner (who's been hunting for buried treasure)went missing. Again, foul play is possible.
There's a long list of people involved in the story. So, at first it was difficult to figure out who the culprit might be. However, about 1/2 way thru the book, I figured most of it out, and the ending wasn't too much of a shock.
The action in the book moved quickly and it didn't take long to read it. However, I still enjoyed the first book in the trilogy more than "Deadly Gift" or "Deadly Harvest."

What a disappointing book. The first two in the trilogy were really good but this one was so far fetched to the point of being ridiculous. The plot wasn't all that great compared to the other two. I certainly wouldn't be inclined to read another book about the Flynn brothers after this one.
