I'm sorry to say that after many years of reliably great stories this series is going downhill. I don't know if it is because Andrew Grant is taking on a larger role in the writing or if Lee Child is running out of ideas, but the characters seem flat and the mystery wasn't really all that interesting.

I think for me Jack Reacher has died and gone to book heaven

This is terrible, it makes no sense at the 200 page and I finally DNF--is it about a robbery? gold? just rambling on and on about NOTHING!

Brother Andrew is not the writer for this series as he can't seem to get a good storyline going and if Lee is helping him then he isn't doing a very good job either

It's sad what's happened to this character / series. Andrew Child may be trying to make it his own, but he should have stayed with what was successful. He just falls short when compared with the books written by Lee.
