A fabulous book! Vivid narration, in which it's easy to keep track of a multifaceted story of illegal mining, environmental devastation, corruption and criminality in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Argentina as well as the United States. Highly recommended - though you might want to wait until the Netflix telenovela version comes out! That's my prediction, at least...
