A very detailed book on each breed, but lacking in the dog care section. A short summary on each dog care topic left me wanting a more detailed explenation. Despite this the book was wonderful! Although there was only one or two photos for each dog, they where clear and contained good detail. Also, the dog breed descriptions where not lacking, giving a clear description of exercise needs, sizes, looks, and temperment. Lots of pure breeds, and also two that are not recognized by the akc. Overall a good book, not perfect, but definetly a nice pick for a dog lover!
