Dorcas is a Mennonite wife and here she shares short tales of her everyday life and her many insights. She has a warm way of writing and you can feel the love and faith in her musings and actions. This is the third book she has written, with "Ordinary Days" being the first and "Upstairs the Peasants are Revolting." It would help if you read them in order but it is not necessary to enjoy her quaint tales about being a mother and wife. If you like gentle stories about faith, love and dealing with the world, I most highly recommend this book to you.
