Great read! Learned a lot about the "trouble" as the civil conflict is called in Belfast. At times funny, at times, sad, but always the characters real people ...lots of depth and detail. Ending is a little weak, still a memorable book.

Because I didn't understand fully the conflict between the Catholics and Protestants, a lot of the history was over my head. But the stories about the characters' day to day lives were very amusing. I found myself laughing out loud more than one.
