Absolutely fascinating book!! Anyone who thinks Communism is a good thing should read this book for a true look at what really goes on behind the scenes in a communist country. An excellent book for adults to read who think they have had a hard life. A reality check for thankfullness. The horrors of prison life in North Korea may not be the best reading for the queezy or faint at heart. Not recommended for young teens or children, but fine for older teens and adults. A true life account, that shows the grace and mercy of God on a ladies life despite the wickedness of this world. Highly recommended!!

This is not my cup of tea. I know I will offend many people when I say this. I didn't know this was a Christian book. I wanted to learn about North Korea and although it does tell of the heinous treatment and just horrific things that happened in prison, in the end it really is a faith-based book. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you're looking for. But not me. So I am passing it on.
