FRESH CLEAN FISH,LOTS OF SALT AND PEPPER, 1/2C.FLOUR,1/2C.CORNMEAL, WESSON OIL FOR FRYING. SALT AND PEPPER FISH TO TASTE, PUT FLOUR AND MEAL IN PAPER BAG, SHAKE FISH IN BAG BEING SURE TO COVER WELL. COOK TILL FISH FLOAT-TURNING ONCE IN HOT OIL.DRAIN.

Never tried half/half with cornmeal . . . I think I will. Plus, we like a bit of paprika in the flour. Just a bit of a zip . . . Sue H.
