I would have given this a 4 except there are a bit more romantic scenes between our werewolf couple than I prefer. The story is about Clay and Elena. She is next in line as pack leader and he is chief enforcer. They are sent to Alaska to check out some odd things going on including deaths. There, Clay checks up on an old friend he hasn't seen in many years and is rebuffed - only to find out he is being blackmailed by rogue were's which have taken up residence in the area and are holding his son ransome. Good story, covers Clay and Elana as well as 3 new additions to their pack and ending some rogues as well as discovering a new changling group.
