Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 1 is the first manga book in an exciting and unique adventure series that I love. It's a very heartfelt story that only gets beter the further into the series you get. I highly reccomend it to all lovers of adventure!

By far my favorite manga/anime series!
Tells how Ed and Al Elric use alchemy to try and bring their mother back but come across many consequences, perils, and foes.
To all you stereotypicals, the fullmetal alchemist is Ed (shorter guy), not Al (the big metal dude)
