I went into this novella not knowing too much. I came out impressed by the very well done first person POV. The whole premise is very interesting. I can definitely see fans of Lisa T. Bergren's YA series and also Sara Ella's books enjoying this one. There were some parts I wasn't a fan of because of some details mentioned, but overall I enjoyed it. I do think some parts could have been expanded on, but it was a very action packed read that had some romance thrown in and a great ending! ;)
