Jimmie jokingly calls himself "Chicken Little." But inside, he doesn't think it's a very good joke. And he's not really chicken, it's just that since hid dad died, he hates to take risks- unlike his uncle Pete, who decides to walk across the thin ice of the river to clown for the crowd on the bank.
Jimmie tries to stop him, and when Uncle Pete drowns, Jimmie feels responsible and guilty. His mom tries to cheer him up, so does his 90 year old uncle CC. Even his sister is nice for once. But, somehow, he has to find a way to feel better about himself- More like Jimmie Little instead of Chicken Little.
