HI all,

I've checked and double checked and still can't figure out why my bookshelf and wishlist aren't being shown to "the public".  Can someone help me figure out what's going on.

I've reset my privacy settings to default and that didn't help either.

Thanks for any ideas you might have!!

Well, huh, I've logged out and still can't see it--but if you can then that's what matters!  Thanks so much!  Wonder what I did?   ;)

I notice that on your profile page, at least from my computer, the links to your bookshelf and wish list are off to the right, requiring a scroll to the right to see them.  It seems the first sentence in your "had to say..." area is pushing things off, though I'm not sure why, or how to fix it.  I would assume a little reformatting (i.e. breaking the sentence up with some use of the enter key) would do the trick, but it might take a little tweaking to get it just right.

eta: I stand corrected, it is the pluses further down the page.

James, it actually looks like it's from the line of "++++++++++++"

Becky, I'd suggest removing a few of those from your profile so it'll all fit as it's supposed to without pushing things off the screen.

Just out of curiosity from reading the OP's profile, but do people swap more than books here?
Or include extras like hand lotions with the books?

I've never seen any sort of mention of anything like this so now I'm curious.

Amee, in the Games forum, there are buddy swaps where people send each other packages of non-book things!

Oh ok! I've only been in the Games forum a couple times and never understood the games so I didn't really look around. That's pretty cool though. :)

I see you Becky :P

Amee, I also thought the swap games looked confusing until I played one.  Much easier than it looks, and the players are usually very nice.
