more than recipes - for instance, there are adjustment hints for three different ranges of altitudes. I had no idea what a difference altitude makes until I started being a 'snowbird' and suddenly my here-to-fore practically perfect meals were not up to par. This book has been a great help & has some excellent recipes also. Not just cakes, it has biscotti, muffins, scones, pancakes, sourdough & more.
