This book won an award because it's just that good -- and it is. The hero is an ex-rock star, the heroine a filmmaker determined to dig into the past and unearth his secrets. The characterization is amazing in this story, and the emotional journeys for every single person involved are just amazing. Hartman has a real winner here!
