I need ideas on quick reads. You hear friends talking about juicy romance, trashy beach novels. So what have you read that you would suggest anyone to read. I know friends are not traveling far this summer but if you read your mind can travel far.. let me know this could be fun to see where this thread may take us.

I think any of the Bad Boys anthology books are great summer reads.  :O)

Here are a couple favorites of mine:

I Love Bad Boys

Bad Boys Down Under (Bad Boys)

Bad Boys To Go

When Good Things Happen to Bad Boys

Immortal Bad Boys

Texas Bad Boys

Bad Boys with Red Roses

Really Unusual Bad Boys

Bad Boys in Black Tie

Bad Boys Southern Style

A quick fun read for me is always Rachel Gibson's See Jane Score.

Janelle Denison has a series about the  Wilde Brothers, cousins etc. These are good for some juicy beach slut, smut, and trash. Fun, quick reads.

Vicki Lewis Thompson's Nerd series are good beach reads. They are light, funny, and steamy. Nothing that's gonna make you tear up or have to concentrate too hard :)

Hmmm... a summer smut /beach Trash book... I wouldn't consider a romance book smutty or trashy unless we're talking about erotica's....

You could try Jackie Collins.  I read most of her earlier books (Lovers and Gamblers)...... loved them, purely for the fictional entertainment, knowing it was going to be completely outrageous.

I like vicki lewis thompson too -they're sexy funny no-stress reads though I don't think they're trashy per se. She also wrote some Blaze titles and I recently read 'acting on impulse' and that was a sexy fun easygoing read. A lot of the Blaze titles are like that. Lori foster mght be god fo rhe beach too..actually I'd read almost anything if I had to suffer through the beach (yes I live an hour from galveston and hardly ever go there..I'm an indoor a/c type gal...)

Judith Krantz!  I'll Take Manhattan, Scruples, Princess Daisy.  Great mini-series stuff - I haven't read in years and I may have to dig them out.
