I don't usually have time to sit down and read a book cover to cover, but I found myself wanting to do just that with this book. It's a light-hearted, not-corny romance, and the characters are likable. It was also a welcome respite from some of the heavier books I've been reading.

Elinor Lipman has a distinctive voice, which I have discovered recently, and am enjoying all her books.

Someone must have suggested I read this book. It was cute, an interesting story taking place back in the 1960's. Two families, both running family style resorts, one in Vermont, one in NY. Reminded me of fun times I used to have when I went to these types of places with my parents.

A quick read, but thought the development of the characters could have been better.
